The University of Auckland Cheerleading Association

The University of Auckland Cheerleading Association currently has one team that represents the University of Auckland. The Varsity Phoenix Cheerleading team is a competitive team that represents the university at different national competitions.

We are a student-operated organisation and we aim to showcase the physicality of cheerleading as a performance-based sport which contains components of stunting, tumbling, jumps and dance.

UOACA have had our most successful year yet in 2022!

Awarded Gold at Battle in the Bay, Tauranga;

Awarded Gold and the Scholastic Grand Champion title at Cheerfactor, Hamilton;

Awarded Silver at Alpine Classic, Christchurch
